Emily was adopted at 7 years old and grew up in Novato California. Sports wasn't something that Emily grew up knowing, and only participated in ones she taught herself how to do. At 10, she found herself wanting to try gymnastics and fell in love. Emily went on to compete in gymnastics and transitioned to coaching as early as she could. Gymnastics opened a whole world of possibilities for Emily, from growing as a person to growing as a coach.
Emily's personal journey has given her confidence to try new things, and learn new ways to stay active and develop herself. She loves being able to help others get stronger and learn how to take better care of themselves. When not at the gym, Emily loves baking and hanging out with her animals.
